FAQS

How long has RELivingWithCPTeam.org (RELiving) been operating as an organization?

RELiving was established in June 2020, by Ryan Ward and Emily Rowe, former students of Kennedy Krieger High School in Baltimore, MD.

What is the mission of RELiving?

The mission of RELiving is to provide a community of support and resources for teens and young adults living with cerebral palsy, specifically those transitioning from high school to adulthood.

How does RELiving accomplish its mission?

RELiving provides a safe space, both physically and virtually, for teens and young adults to communicate with peers, service and resource providers to support and empower our community and team members. We do this through bi-monthly roundtable discussions on topics of interest to our members, bi-monthly social mixers and events with community friends and family. We also provide accessible social media platforms for our team members to easily engage and communicate with one another.

What can I expect by joining the RELiving team?

You can expect the support of a community of fellow teens and young adults who are currently experiencing similar challenges or have the benefit of successfully overcoming similar challenges and are willing to share solutions to help you. As an active member you may also choose to help RELiving implement our mission by applying your special skills and interests to one or more areas of our operations: mentorship, membership services and fulfillment, marketing/ promotions, digital services, fundraising, event planning and partnership development.

How do I join?

Similarly if you have a special talent or interest you would like to share and contribute to the RELiving team let us know. In either case someone from our community will follow-up by email or phone within 24 hours.
